Secular Rhythm of Macro Behavioural Dynamics of Political Economy: The Bond Wave
Contents
This series is intended to observe how the historical rhythm of bond yields mirrors the paradigm transformations—both recurrences and evolutions—of broader economic and political dynamisms. (Here, the term “cycle” conveys a notion of irregular but recurrent dynamics: irregular in both period and magnitude.) Although it does not intend to reveal the causal relationship among them, it does intend to present historical facts. I believe that monetary conditions dictate a great part of our collective behaviours, therefore, accounts for the secular cycle of political economy. Therefore, my premise is that the state of money, when expressed in interest rates cycle, reflects the psychology of society, therefore, broader socio-political-economic realities.
